For whatever reason, the Tennessee Williams masterpiece has opened at Out North with nearly no promotion or publicity. This is criminal. This excellent production deserves an audience.

Masterfully directed by Bob Pond, the cast is uniformly excellent. Scarlet Boudreaux, in particular, owns the role of Amanda, one of the greatest characters in American theatre. With Max Aronson, Sarah Bethany Baird and Patrick Parker Killoran

When that wholesome all-American couple, Brad and Janet, get a flat in the middle of the nowhere, they decide to check the castle up the road for a phone (smart, guys, really smart). Instead, they fall into a strange new world of decadence and debauchery that forces them to reconsider sex and sexuality. With familiar tunes and callbacks aplenty, this is a show you won't want to miss. It's the same old story with a whole new look. This ain't your parents' Rocky Horror Show!

This Halloween season join TBA for a chilling original work by P. Shane Mitchell. This terrifying tale is all the more frightening because it is based on true events.

A gothic horror stalks a young couple and the residents of what is called "the most haunted castle in Ireland" at the turn of the last century. Recommended for those who can handle a good scare.

LAY OF THE LAND is Tim Miller's saucy, sharp-knifed look at the State of the Queer Union during a time of trial! Careening from his sexy misadventures performing in 45 States, to Marriage Equality street protests, to the electoral assaults on gay folks all over the country, to his life as a grade-school flag monitor, to choking on cheap meat caught in his 10 year old gay boy's throat, LAY OF THE LAND friskily gets at that feeling of gay folks being perpetually on trial, on the ballot, and on the menu!

When CB's dog dies from rabies, CB begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation; his sister has gone goth; his ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized; and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. But a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of this group's bullying, offers CB a peace of mind and sets in motion a friendship that will push teen angst to the very limits. Drug use, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion and sexual identity collide and careen toward an ending that's both haunting and hopeful.

Is all fair in love and war? Dan, a writer, meets Alice, a stripper, after a car accident; they fall in love. Dan meets Anna, a photographer; he becomes enamored of her. Larry, a doctor, meets Anna; they fall in love. But Dan’s not done with Anna, and Alice hasn’t forgotten Dan. What follows is a struggle of love, power and sexual politics, as the four characters use and abuse each other in their search for intimacy. Sexual contact isn’t enough; they need something closer.
