A batch of wings from Wings 'n Things: Photo by Bill Roth / Anchorage Daily NewsPopular Alaska restaurant Wings ‘n Things is opening up in Wasilla at 238 North Boundary (previously Great Bear Brew). A grand opening is planned for this Saturday to coincide with the first year anniversary of the location on the corner of 36th Avenue and Arctic Boulevard. Both the 36th Avenue and Wasilla location are managed by Tracy Olsen, the downtown location is franchised to Daryl Hunter.
All three locations carry the same menu and family friendly sports atmosphere, although the new location will feature brighter interior colors. The stage has been saved in the Wasilla location, but there aren't any plans in the works yet for live entertainment. Super Bowl bashes are planned for all locations this Sunday, but the Valley location does not have a beer and wine permit yet.
