The restaurant, originally downtown (Fifth and I), was open for 25 years before it abruptly closed in August 2007, only to reopen in January of this year with a new owner, a new location (36th and Arctic) and hungry crowds. The same recipes led to the same tasty eats, and the Arctic Boulevard location was soon featured in an ADN wing challenge.

The business changed hands again in August and is now expanding with another restaurant. The new location re-establishes Wings ‘n Things' downtown connection, opening in the spot that once housed tapas bar Cafe Savannah. The location at 508 W. Sixth Ave. will have a soft opening next Thursday and officially open for business that Friday.
New owners Chad Graham and Alex Vargas are looking forward to serving former downtown customers and are planning to host Monday Night Football, regular NFL and college football games and an open-mike night on Wednesdays.
The Arctic location will remain open and the menu will be the same at both restaurants.
