Best Spinning Rod and Reel for Sockeye

It might be a little early for this but here goes. I am going to Bristol Bay's Kvichak River this July to fish for Sockeye. There will be plenty of room so I don't need to bump elbows with anyone. I am looking for a top-quality rod and reel and don't want to cut corners. That way I'll actually save money in the long run by not having to repeat the process. What are some of your suggestions? Thanks!
