Dear All of Alaska,
I am a 22 y/o, alaskan native citizen, and i've completly misrepresented my family and everything Alaska stands for. I'm responsible for where i find my self today. I've learned valuable lessons during my current federal incarceration. Not only have i reestablished my morals and vaules, I've also renewed my faith w/God in my spirituality.
I feel that expressing my remorse to our community will hold me accountable for higher expectations for my life. I didnt earn the money i thought i derserved by attempting to cash fraudulent checks. I'm ready to be a law-abiding, honest citizen for the safety of our community and a responsible mother for my children.
I regret not being the only one affected by my irresponsible decisions, along w/society, my unborn infant (due Sept) will be deeply affected due to falling into Washington Custody upon birth. To avoid this tragic situation from occuring i have made extensive requests of our AK Congressman, for his assistance in a commute of my sentence. I want the community to fully understand my remorse and know that i'm not asking to evade my probation or be excused for my actions. I'm requesting an early release for the opportunity to care for my infant while earning my trust back in the community.
Regardless, of the outcome of my request, I appreciate the Federal Judicial System for holding me accountable for my irresponsible behaviors.
Once again, thank You.
