Dear Family of Spc. Steven R. Jewell,
I had to take the time to thank his family for his efforts to fight for our freedom. When I look at his picture, it makes me think of all of the students who I taught for the last 25 years, and it made me think of all of the stories of what children said they wanted to be when they grew up. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I appreciate your willingness for him to fight for our country. Prayers are sent your way, and blessings of peace.
