It's almost been two years

It's almost been two years Blohm. I still think about you everyday. I'm so sorry there was nothing I could do for you. You are still missed and I will never forget.

From your Platoon Sergeant

Alan,
You were a great Soldier, and an even better person. You are missed by all in the PSD. I will hold your memory with me forever, and I can only ask the forgiveness of your family for not being able to bring you home. You will never be forgotten. We love you buddy!
"ALWAYS READY!"

An angel in combat

Although your information above reads Date of Death: 12/31/06 it should actually read Date of your new life: 12/31/06. Your new life is up in heaven looking down to us and still doing what you had so much passion doing, protecting and fighting for our country. You now have joined your dear cousin Larissa and other loved ones who have passed.
Thank you Alan, for giving me and my family freedom and the peace to sleep at night. Thank you for all the memories, laughter and happiness you gifted to me, Erik, Makayla, Bristol and Kasiana. I love you forever and the times on the beach in the summer will forever be different without you by my side busting out in laughter as we pick fish out of the net or waiting for the tides to change.
I will always look for you in the dark of the night gazing up in the stars as we did one night. You will be the brightest one shining for all of us to see.
Peace to you Alan as you rest and one day you and I will see one another again. I will be looking forward to seeing your comforting face in heaven.
May God given you favortism when you entered the gates of Heaven on 12-31-06. Your mission is complete here on earth solider, rest in peace in God's loving arms. I will love you forever.
I love you.
Auntie L
