Linck and I went through PLDC together in 2003, and I spent some time with his LRSD unit in Afghanistan. I only recently found out that he was killed in Iraq. Linck was a dedicated Soldier who still knew how to have fun when he wasn't working, and I'm proud to have served with him. I'm terribly sorry for your family's loss.
He is like the wind, I can't see him, but I can feel him.
I miss Will so much. I knew him since the first day he got to Alaska. Always smiling, goofy. I was drawn to him. His family is my prayers. I am still currently here in Iraq. He is an angel now looking down on each and everyone of us. I believe it with all of my heart.
We just recently met your son and only knew him for a short time, but he made a big impression on our life and I just want to say how sorry I am to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful young man with a lot of potential.
Thanks for your wonderful words regarding my son Henry. How did you have the opportunity to meet him? We are very proud of Henry and miss him dearly. Sincerely, Rick Linck
Please accept my deepest condolences in the loss of your loved one Staff Sgt. Henry Linck who gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for his Country. He will always be remembered as a Hero.
My son is also a Paratrooper serving in Iraq at this time from Fort Richardson. Please know my heart aches for you and your loss.
I pray that God and His Grace will be near you each day to comfort you. Your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.
