Lots on tap for UAA's Homecoming Week 2012, through Oct. 13

UAA may not have a football team, but it has a hockey team, and in preparation for the Kendall Hockey Classic this weekend, the campus is hosting Homecoming 2012, daily activities to capture student enthusiasm and focus it on the hockey match-up Friday and Saturday nights with Canisius College, the Air Force and UAF.

Tuesday night, Massive Monkees Hip Hop Crew not only danced, but enticed some of their UAA audience up on stage to show their stuff. Here's a little clip of the brave souls who ventured up to the stage. Hint: They've had some experience.

Tonight, Oct. 10, comedian Hannibal Buress will amuse at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Students pay $5 and tickets for the general public are $20.

Thursday evening, Oct 11, the 19th run of A Capella Festivella will showcase the UAA Glee Club and The Exchange.

And of course, there's hockey on the weekend. The puck drops for UAA at 8 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Saturday. Howl for the Seawolves!
