Discounted cat adoptions this weekend

Update, 8/16: Due to popular demand, the discounts have started today! They will carry on through Sunday.

There’s a CAT for That!

In 1987, the Anchorage Animal Care and Control Center (AACCC) building was constructed. This Saturday and Sunday (changed to Thursday through Sunda), to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our building and National Homeless Animals Day (August 18), AACCC will be reducing adoption fees to only $12 for each adult cat ($12 for 2012). Adult cats are all cats ages one year and older.

We would like to thank our partner, Friends of Pets, for covering the cost of all spay or neuter surgeries for cats adopted this weekend. All cat adoptions include, as always, spay or neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.

AACCC volunteers have put together giveaways and a prize drawing for those coming down to adopt as well! The Center will be open our usual hours, 10:00am-6:00pm, both Saturday and Sunday.
