Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Please meet Willis, a young, neutered male, lab mix. He is under a year old, attentive, upbeat, and eager to please. He still has plenty of puppy energy about him, loves to run and play, end enjoys the company of humans. He walks well on leash, staying at your side and watching you for cues. He's a fast learner and already knows "sit". Willis has lived with kids 3 to 6, is kennel-trained and used to short rides in the car. He will love an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, attention and structure. Fun pup! Special thanks to Ravenwood Vet Clinic for providing Willis's neuter surgery free of charge and reducing his adoption fee by $80! Willis can now be adopted for $72, which includes his MOA license, vaccinations, and microchip. Call 343-8122 for more information.
