Business People announces the hire or promotion of employees to senior or mid-level professional or supervisory positions. Positions must be full-time and paid. Significant specialized training or professional certification is also announced.

Sefton appointed Seward branch manager

FNBA_SeftonFNBA_SeftonA First National Bank Alaska veteran of more than 30 years, Karen Sefton was recently appointed Seward branch manager by the bank’s board of directors.

Sefton has worked at the Seward Branch for a total of 31 years. She started as a teller and worked numerous other positions. As Branch Manager, she’ll oversee day-to-day operations and be responsible for helping to meet customers’ loan needs.

The Seward Branch celebrated its 60th anniversary earlier this year and First National is commemorating its 90th anniversary in 2012.
