Lee joins Northwest Strategies

NWStrategies_LeeNWStrategies_LeeANCHORAGE, Alaska– Northwest Strategies, a full-service marketing, advertising and public relations agency, is pleased to announce the hire of Amber Lee, who joins the NWS team as senior account supervisor.

Lee is responsible for account management, brand and campaign strategy and development and management of creative execution.

Clients she is responsible for include Alaska Housing Finance Corp., Cook Inlet Housing Authority and Era Alaska. Lee has more than 17 years experience in communications, advertising and marketing. She has worked for newspapers, nonprofits, and as a campaign manager and staffer at the Alaska State Legislature.

Lee spent the bulk of her career in telecommunications marketing as a marketing manager at Alaska Communications, and as marketing director at GCI. She has an undergraduate degree in communications and a master’s degree in nonfiction creative writing.

Some of Lee’s most notable accomplishments include the a multi-faceted, non-traditional launch of Android for Alaska Communications in 2010, a strategic shift in messaging and product that created exponential growth in smartphone data sales for GCI, increasing their overall wireless average revenue per user, and she was a member of the team that successfully acquired and launched the iPhone for GCI.

“We are extremely pleased to have Amber as part of our team,” said NWS President and CEO Tim Woolston. “She’s one of those rare people who can fire up the left and right brain at the same time. So while she’s dreaming up stunning creative ideas, she’s also testing those against brand strategy, analyzing trends and measuring ROI.”
