WHPacific Inc. welcomes new President Bob Macomber

WHPacific_MacomberWHPacific_MacomberSeattle, WA (June 21, 2012) – WHPacific, Inc., today announced that veteran industry executive Robert G. ("Bob") Macomber has joined the firm as its new president. With 22 years of distinguished leadership and business development experience in the real estate, land development, and energy industries, Macomber's expertise includes enterprise planning and growth, strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and achieving industry recognition for corporate best practices.

"Bob is a strong, highly experienced leader who has guided companies like WHPacific through growth and expansion. I am very confident that Bob can help WHPacific grow and adapt to the challenges in our marketplace today,” said John Rense, sector leader of engineering, construction, and real estate at NANA Development Corporation, the parent company of WHPacific.

Over the last two decades, Macomber helped lead periods of extraordinary growth and expansion at known development firms: first as president at Atwell-Hicks, LLC, a nationally recognized land development and energy consulting firm, and then at Bowman Consulting Group, which specializes in residential, commercial, and retail development across a broad range of markets. Under Macomber's direction, Atwell-Hicks maintained an impressive 20-year streak of 25% annual revenue growth and won eight consecutive Zweig-White Hot Firm awards. At Bowman Consulting, Macomber increased business unit revenues and led the firm's strategic expansion into the oil and gas market, particularly the growing shale gas sector.

Macomber looks forward to getting started. "I was attracted to WHPacific because of the company's breadth of services, its clients, and its diverse portfolio, which demonstrate a great range of skills and abilities," he said. "At the same time, I see some opportunities to bolster WHPacific's growth and profitability," Macomber continued. "In this new economy, we must make our own luck. We need to be more aggressive and smarter than our competitors. And when we win jobs, we must perform outstanding work so that in the future, our clients won't even think of using any firm but WHPacific."
