New music from Ketchikan group Focal Point
Posted: June 27, 2012 - 2:17 pm
While the tracks on the "Cold and Loud" compilation should be available soon on iTunes and Amazon, the new single from Ketchikan duo Focal Point, "Broken Hearts and Dreams," was recently made available in both digital stores. (Go here for iTunes and here for Amazon.)
A message band from the band, comprised of brothers Don and Jeff Orr, said that former Klaatu member Dee Long played keyboards and bass and also mixed the track. Klaatu was a ‘70s Canadian prog-rock band perhaps best remembered for rumors that they were secretly the Beatles. That’s fitting since "Broken Hearts" has its fair share of John Lennon-isms.
