Anchorage, Alaska – The Aleut Corporation, one of the 12 regional Alaska Native corporations, acquired Analytica Group of Colorado on June 15, 2012.
Established in 1984, Analytica Group is a state certified water testing laboratory with offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Wasilla and Thornton, Colo. Their public water system compliance monitoring program has helped countless water utilities in Alaska and Colorado fulfill complex industrial compliance requirements. Analytica has played a vital role in providing clients with precise, defensible baseline data.
The Analytica’s clientele include public drinking water and industrial wastewater utilities, mining, oil and gas, seafood processors, manufacturing, tourism, cruise lines, school districts, construction, real estate, state and federal agencies, private homeowners and not-for-profits.
“Analytica Group represents a great addition to our Industrial Services division.” said Aleut Corporation CEO Dave Gillespie. “With its extensive laboratory and water analysis capabilities, Analytica dovetails with our subsidiaries C& H Testing in Southern California and Alaska Instrument in Anchorage. Like our 2011 acquisition Patrick Mechanical of Fairbanks, Analytica’s growth and development will help the Aleut Corp. continue to provide dividends for our 3,700 shareholders. We’re also pleased that Elizabeth Rensch in Anchorage and Jim Santmyer in Colorado, are staying on to run the company.”
Other subsidiary holdings of the Aleut Corp. include Aleut Enterprise LLC, Aleut Real Estate, LLC, all of Anchorage, Patrick Mechanical LLC of Fairbanks, Aleut Management Services of Colorado Springs, Colo.
