Storytelling class Saturday

Will HornyakWill HornyakMaster storyteller Will Hornyak will present a storytelling class and workshop Saturday. In "Storytelling from the Inside Out: Cultivating an Authentic Voice as a Storyteller," Hornyak "will guide students to consider the three languages of storytelling (voice, gesture, facial expression) as well as practical tips for developing stories for performances or professional presentations. Participants are encouraged to bring a short traditional story or personal narrative. The workshop is engaging, fun, highly experiential and provides a useful toolbox of ideas, activities and exercises for ongoing storytelling development."

The class takes place from noon to 3 p.m. at Anchorage Community Theatre, 1133 E. 70th and costs $20 -- which is probably a bargain just to watch Honryak do his stuff.

For more information, call 344-4713... and if you're going to participate, dress comfortably.
