I walked the grounds and made portraits of just a few of the people who will be busy riding, roping, racing and dancing. Events begin at 6pm Friday with bull riding and barrel racing, followed by live music and dancing at a nearby tent at an event called Beauty and the Beast. The action continues Saturday with various rodeo competitions starting at 6pm and again Sunday at 2pm during the GMC Truck Rodeo Roundup. More information can be found on the Rodeo Alaska website.
