Perseverance Tryouts in Anchorage

Perseverance Theatre will hold auditions in Anchorage for its 2012-2013 Season from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24 at Out North Contemporary Art House, 3800 DeBarr Road, Anchorage AK 99508.

The professional company is looking for actors, and singers who can act, for both its Juneau and Anchorage Seasons. Plays in the season include: "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck, "Oklahoma" by Rodgers and Hammerstein, "Betrayal" by Harold Pinter and several new/contemporary works.

Actors are asked to bring a resume and headshot or current photo, prepare a short monologue and/or 16 bars of a song (accompaniment will not be available). Sides will be available for those without prepared material. Perseverance is committed to casting the actors regardless of race and/or sexual orientation.
