Design-PT is a local IT managed services consulting firm serving the non-profit sector. The firm aims to help correct the imbalance of women in computer science disciplines by creating more opportunities for them to grow their IT careers.

The internship program offers fixed-duration summer internships for women pursuing their bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, MIS, computer systems engineering or related fields. Internships are paid and do require participants to reside in the greater Anchorage area during the internship period, roughly June through August. Additionally, upon successful completion of a summer’s internship, our Ada Lovelace interns will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used to further their education at the university level.
