Resource Awareness Month in the MatSu

VCRS new facilityVCRS new facility
MatSu Mayor Larry DeVilbiss has designated April as Resource Awareness Month to encourage all citizens to reduce, recycle and reuse resources, foster the growth of green jobs and promote sustainable energy practices in the Borough.

What a great way to raise awareness and celebrate the opening of Valley Citizens for Recycling Solutions (VCRS) new Regional Resource Recovery and Training Park where all things recycling happens in the MatSu. Check out www.valleyrecycling.org and learn about all the events happening this month.
