Cedric SandersCedric Sanders

“The Least Among You,” starring East High School graduate Cedric Sanders, comes out on DVD Tuesday, Aug. 24. Opposite Academy Award-winner Louis Gossett, Jr., Sanders plays a black college graduate who is unfairly arrested after the 1965 Watts riots and is ultimately sent to an all-white seminary. The role garnered Sanders the Best Actor Award at the San Diego Black Film Festival.

Sanders also has another feature role coming up. He will appear in the new movie “The Social Network,” which opens on Oct. 1. Directed by David Fincher (“Fight Club,” “Se7en,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”), the movie tells the story of the founders of Facebook.
