"Animated Library," a solo exhibit by Susan Joy Share, will have it's official reception at 7 p.m. Friday at Out North, 3800 Debarr. Share will speak and sign copies of a new book featuring her work, "From the Sleep of Waters."

In the Valley, there'll be a Second Saturday art show event featuring Fine Arts Photographer Tim Berberich, "All The Right Stuff," at Shane Lamb Studios 550 South Alaska St. in Palmer, Alaska. It opens at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 10. Berberich also has a show now, with painter Douglas Girard, at Vagabond Blues 642 S. Alaska Street in Palmer. The show will continue daily, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., through the week.

And at 5:30 p.m. next Friday, July 16, the Mobil Trailer Supply gallery, 3142 Mt. View Dr., will host "Between Time," an international exhibition of work by film and digital artists from Korea and the U.S., curated by Michael Walsh and Minsu Yang. Enjoy music by Reverse Retro and catering by the Taproot Cafe.

That means this weekend may be your last chance to see Michael Walsh's "Backyard Alaska" at MTS, an ambitious installation featuring found objects, archival film and audio, and "1,200 lbs of junk in the making."
