The Alaska Aces open a three-game ECHL road series at Las Vegas tonight, and newcomers Jarrett Konkle and Garry Nunn, both wingers, will be in the lineup for their Aces debuts.
Konkle was acquired last week in a trade with Elmira that cost the Aces veteran defenseman Derick Martin. Nunn is coming out of the major junior and making his pro debut.
Center Evan Kotsopoulos will be the healthy scratch -- that fate likely sealed when he took an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty late in the third period of last Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to Ontario. Kotsopoulos' penalty came during a delayed penalty against the Reign that would have given the Aces a power play with the game tied 3-3.
