North Dakota, St. Cloud State and Minnesota-Duluth won deciding Game 3s tonight to join Denver and Wisconsin the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Final Five, set later this week in St. Paul, Minn.
North Dakota used one goal and two assists from Jason Gregoire to close the three-game series with a 4-1 win over visiting Minnesota.
St. Cloud State needed Drew LeBlanc's goal 3:21 into OT to beat visiting Minnesota State-Mankato 3-2.
And Minnesota-Duluth used one goal and two assists from Brady Lamb, and 25 saves from Kenny Reiter to beat visiting Colorado College, 4-0.
All five of the higher seeds in the first round won their series.
The Final Five opens Thursday with a play-in game between Minnesota-Duluth and North Dakota who tied for fourth in the league. The winner gets No. 1 ranked Denver in the semis. The other semi pits Wisconsin and St. Cloud.
