Alaska Dog Sports is hosting a Nose Work Scenting Workshop this weekend. Though all the spots for dogs are taken, owner Liz Williams says a few "audit" positions are available for Saturday's 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. session and Monday's 9-12 and 1-4 sessions. Audit spots are for handlers only.

WHAT: K9 Nose Work Scenting Workshop
WHEN: March 13, 14, 15. Participants can sign up for one day or multiple days. Check the link for availability.
WHERE: Alaska Dog Sports, 511 W. 54th Ave.
DETAILS: K9 Nose Work is a new, detection-style sport designed to develop dogs’ natural scenting abilities by using their curiosity, desire to hunt, and their love of toys, food, and exercise. The introductory workshop is designed for future K9 Nose Work instructors, dog sports enthusiasts, and the pet owner looking for a fun outlet for their dog.
