Three men have been charged in connection with a home-invasion robbery last spring that left two wounded by gunshots, according to police.
Lanolan Anderson, 35; Jack Espinoza, Jr. 28; and Ath Som Chhay, 22, were indicted Tuesday on charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and assault, police said.
The men are accused of raiding a home in a mobile home park at 1200 W. Dimond Blvd. on May 4, 2009, while the resident, Tupou Satini, was home with his five children, his brother and his brother’s girlfriend, according to police.
The robbers hit Satini in the head with a pistol and shot his brother, Lofia Satini, and the girlfriend, Amy Itta, before fleeing, according to police. All survived.
In September, Tupou Satini and Itta were indicted on federal drug conspiracy charges alleging they plotted to receive a package from California containing 573 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Last month, Espinoza was jailed on an assault charge for his alleged involvement in a Feb. 23 shooting at a mobile home park at 3307 Boniface Parkway. Police say Espinoza and his juvenile cousin got into an altercation with 36-year-old Samuel Colegrove when the minor shot Colegrove.
Anderson and Espinoza remain in custody, police said. Chhay is at large.
Police described Chhay as an Asian male, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police at 786-8900.
