Anchorage D-Man Lauwers Headed To Army

Defenseman Dax Lauwers of Anchorage has committed to play college pucks at Army, according to Chris Heisenberg's recruiting Web site.

Lauwers, 18, is a 6-foot-2, 185 pounder who plays for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL. He owns two assists in 44 games this season, with a +2 rating and 58 penalty minutes.
