The fingerprints of former Alaska Aces were all over the Springfield Falcons' 7-5 AHL win over Lowell today.
Former Aces sniper Chris Minard bagged two goals, including the game winner, and went +1. He owns 15-10--25 and +3 totals in 31 games -- he's played so few games because he missed a couple months with a concussion.
Former Aces winger Charles Linglet furnished a playmaker (three helpers) and went +2 to give him 18-49--68 totals and a -3 rating in 66 matches. That's Linger's career high for points.
And former Aces winger Ryan MacMurchy chipped in an empty-net goal and an assist, and went +1, to give him 2-10--12 and -7 totals in 49 games.
Elsewhere, erstwhile Aces goaltender Frank Doyle is in the net for the Worcester Sharks tonight at Abbotsford (UPDATE: He stopped 25 shots in a 2-1 win to improve to 1-1-0 with a 2.54 goals-against average and .911 save percentage). But erstwhile Aces defenseman T.J. Fast is not in the lineup for Peoria, which is entertaining Lake Erie.
