Was only able to briefly stop by Alaska Aces practice this morning, but it appears they've added a foward, one Darrell May, a 26-year-old with four seasons of Canadian college hockey under his belt and five seasons of Western Hockey League experience before that.
The hockey database I check out doesn't reflect that he has played this season (if I hear otherwise, I'll update this -- UPDATE: According to the University of British Columbia Web site, May earned 1-3--4 totals in 12 games this season), but last season the 5-foot-11, 194-pound, right-handed shooter from St. Albert, Alberta earned 4-18--22 totals in 24 games at UBC.
In four years at UBC, he racked 37-79--116 totals in 120 games. His best WHL season came in 2004-05, when he put up 18-35--53 totals in 71 games with Portland.
