I'm heading to the Rondy Mutt Show today at Alyeska Canine Trainers from noon to 4 p.m. Lots of cool activities and vendors. Best part: Dogs are welcome.

WHAT: Fur Rondy Mutt Show (Dogs are welcome)

WHEN: Noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 28

WHERE: Alyeska Canine Trainers, 549 W. International Airport Road (next to Guido's Pizza)

THEME: Taking Care of Business

DEMONSTRATIONS: Watch smart dogs perform in agility, flyball, rally and obedience.

CONTESTS (with prizes): Doggie/owner Lookalike; Costume Contest -- dress your dog like a "Corporate Animal"; Tail-Wagging Contest; Priceless Pet Tricks Contest; Dog Trivia Contest. (Registration for contests begins at noon.)

VENDORS: Dog-related businesses and organizations will be at the Mutt Show to share information and sell fun stuff. If you're in the market for doggie daycare, doggie grooming, doggie massage, professional photography, toys, treats or even a dog that needs rescuing, you won't want to miss this.

'CELEBRITY' JUDGE: LOL, me! There are supposed to be some real local celebrities, too. :p
