Student Employment Opportunities with National Weather Servicew

NWS is offering two positions: a Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) and a Student Volunteer position. The STEP position is paid for up to 120 days and while in the system students have the chance to learn about meteorology, hydrology, and computer systems used for tracking weather.

Students interested in the volunteer position also have the opportunity to learn about hydrology, meteorology, and computer systems. The position also allows the student to explore career options and develop professional skills. The student may volunteer for up to 30 days and the days do not have to be consecutive.

If interested submit your application before the March 9 deadline.
