Millions are watching the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
If you’re one of them, you’re getting a pretty good glimpse of Anchorage’s weather right now too. At the Olympics, ski races and training have been postponed because of unfavorable conditions. We’re getting that same snow, rain, slush, warmish sort of weather too.
Of course, we don’t have athletes and visitors from all over the world in town, but we are getting a little taste of the Olympics. Slushy weather is not the best thing the Olympics have to offer. Hopefully we’ll get a little cooling trend shortly.
Meantime, go Holly, Kikkan and all the other Alaska athletes in Vancouver.
