The Wildflower Garden Club is again offering an annual scholarship to graduating high school students and current college students intending to major in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Forestry, Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology and/or allied subjects.
This is an annual and potentially renewable $1000 award. Completed applications and all attachments must be postmarked by March 31st.
Interested students click here for the scholarship page of the Wildflower Garden Club website to download forms and/or to communicate with the Scholarship Committee.
Basic WFGC scholarship information is also listed on the Alaska Career Information Systems (AKCIS) website. If you prefer the applications forms to be mailed to you, or have another way of presenting this material, please email email@example.com
This is a gateway scholarship in the sense that the recipient of the WFGC award receives the club’s endorsement for further/future application to state ($500), regional ($1000) and national ($3500) garden club scholarships. These higher level moneys can be reapplied for every year throughout the student’s entire postsecondary educational career.
If there are any questions concerning this scholarship, please contact WFGC Scholarship Committee member KJ Farley at firstname.lastname@example.org
