UAF Slips To No. 12; Yaremchuk CCHA Rookie Of Week

Coming off a weekend split at Lake Superior State in Michigan -- UAF lost 4-3 Friday, then won 3-2 in OT on Saturday -- the Nanooks slipped to No. 12 from No. 10 in both the USCHO.com poll and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.

UAF is 8-3-1 entering a series this weekend against Northern Michigan in Fairbanks.

Also, UAF freshman winger Nik Yaremchuk was named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's Rookie of the Week after bagging two goals, two helpers and a +2 rating in the Lake Superior series.
