Ladies Only Two-Day Drawing Workshop: Erin Pollock and Steph Kese will teach various drawing techniques including contour drawing, gesture drawing, rhythm drawing and life drawing (with a model). Call for Art: Dia de Muertos/Day of the Dead. The goal of the exhibition is to guide the souls of our departed loved ones on a safe and festive journey to our world and back into the spiritual realm. Artist-in-Residence: Denali National Park and Preserve is seeking applications from visual artists for the 2010 Artist-in-Residence program. Deadline is Oct. 31. Artists will spend a 10-day period in a cabin and are required to donate one piece to the park’s collection as well as provide a public presentation for visitors at the end of the residency. Art Studio for Kids: Drawing in the Galleries: Students ages 9 and older create art inspired by great works of art in the museum’s galleries.
