The foodies over at a Slice, the melted cheese and pepperoni topped arm of Serious Eats, took on Alaska in the newest post of their 50-state pizza tour.

In other pizza related news, Alaska State Fair marketing director Dean Phipps announced a two-topping special today featuring American Idol runner up David Archuleta:
