Text: On 05-29-2009, at approximately 0025 hours, the Alaska State
Troopers arrested Tacie P. Hoffman, age 29, of Anchorage for DUI and
DWLS. Hoffman was contacted near the intersection of the Palmer Wasilla
Highway and North Shoreline Drive in Wasilla, by AST during an
investigation of a REDDI report. Investigation revealed that Hoffman
was driving while impaired and under the influence of alcohol and
driving with a suspended license. Hoffman was transported and remanded
to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. Bail was set at $1,500.

Type: DUI - Drugs
Text: On 05/28/09, at approximately 1850 hours, William Langevin III,
age 40 of Wasilla, was arrested for the crime of DUI after the vehicle
he was driving was stopped for speeding on Vine Road, near Betty J St.
Investigation determined Langevin was driving while impaired and under
the influence. Langevin was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility
and remanded into their custody. Bail was set at $500.

Type: MVC-D
Text: On 5-29-2009 at approximately 1211 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to report of a three vehicle collision at the intersection of
the Palmer-Wasilla Hwy and Schelin Spur in Wasilla. Investigation
revealed that Dorrie Dean, age 43, of Palmer was traveling westbound on
the Palmer-Wasilla Hwy in her 2000 Volkswagen station wagon. Dean had
stopped at the stop light at the intersection of the Palmer-Wasilla Hwy
and Schelin Spur, waiting for the traffic light to turn green. Michael
Wilder, age 42, of Wasilla was traveling westbound on the Palmer-Wasilla
Hwy in his 2005 Ford F150 and had stopped behind Dean's vehicle.
Kristen Lyman, age 17, of Palmer was traveling westbound on the
Palmer-Wasilla Hwy, in a 2000 Ford Excursion, when she collided into the
rear of Wilder's vehicle. Wilder's vehicle then collided into the rear
of Dean's vehicle. No injuries were sustained in the collision. The
damage to Dean's vehicle was estimated to be approximately $1000.00.
The damage to Wilder's vehicle was estimated to be approximately
$2500.00 and the damage to Lyman's vehicle was estimated to be
approximately $2000.00. All parties reported wearing their seatbelts at
the time of the collision. Lyman was issued a citation for failure to
exercise due care to avoid a collision and for no proof of insurance.

Text: On 5-29-2009 at approximately 0657 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report of an ATV theft from a residence on Williwaw Way in
Wasilla. Jere Pyle, age 40 of Wasilla, reported that his 50cc red and
white 2008 Polaris Outlaw, was stolen from his yard sometime during the
night. Investigation is continuing. Anyone having information

Location: Rezanof Drive near Puffin Drive, Kodiak
Case Number: 09-43858
Type: Violation of Conditions of Release, Minor Consuming Alcohol
Text: On 5-28-09 at approximately 2305 hours AST Kodiak stopped a 1995
GMC Yukon for an equipment violation. The driver was identified as 17
year old Abraham Sullivan of Kodiak. The passenger was identified as 18
year old Loren Delacruz of Kodiak. The odor of alcohol was detected
wafting from the interior of the vehicle. Investigation found that
Sullivan was not DUI but he had been drinking. Sullivan was cited for
Minor Consuming Alcohol and Minor Operating a Motor Vehicle after
consuming alcohol. As a result of being cited for Operating after
Consuming Sullivan's license was revoked at the scene. Delacruz had
also consumed alcohol and as a result he was cited for Minor Consuming
Alcohol and arrested for Violating Conditions of Release. Delacruz was
remanded to the Kodiak Jail and held without bail pending an
arraignment. A sober adult responded to the scene and took over
operation of the vehicle.

Type: Search and Rescue
Text: On 5/27/09, at approximately 1200 hours, Nome AST was advised by
Gambell VPO Rudy Oosevaseuk that a hunting party was overdue. VPO
Oosevaseuk reported that boat Captain Leonard Appangalook, 40 yoa,
Ernest Appangalook, 20 yoa, and Nicholai Avalnun, 30 yoa, all of Gambell
left the village by boat to go whale hunting on 5/26/09, at
approximately 1500 hours. The party was expected back in the village
between 2200 and 0000 hours. They never returned. A Coast Guard C130
was sent from Kodiak and at approximately 1700 hours, the boat was
located. All 3 passengers were reported to be in good condition. The
boat was low on fuel and stuck between moving sea ice. The Coast Guard
aircraft continued to circle overhead until the boat was able to make it
back to Gambell. Nome AST would like to thank the VPO's of Gambell and
the Coast Guard for their assistance in making this a successful Search
and Rescue.

Text: On 5/28/09, at 1655 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a
residence in St. Mary's for a domestic disturbance. Subsequent
investigation revealed that Carl Tyson, 19 of St. Mary's was intoxicated
and had assaulted a relative with a knife. Tyson was arrested and
charged with Assault III, Assault IV, and Minor Consuming. Tyson was
transported to Bethel and remanded to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional
Center. Bail is set $1500.00 and a CATPC. Alcohol was a major factor.

Text: On 05/19/09 AST responded to a report that Gerald Pugal, 24 years
of age of Kodiak was not with his court appointed third party custodian,
as he is required to be twenty four hour sight and sound. Upon contact
with Pugal he was not within sight and sound of his third party
custodian. Pugal was taken into custody without incident and remanded at
the Kodiak jail.

Text: On 5/19/2009 at approximately 1000 hours John Beedles, age 51 of
Kechikan, called Kodiak AST to report that approximately $2385.00 worth
of cigarettes were taken from the Kodiak branch of Northern Sales in
Kodiak. Beedles stated that the cigarettes were starting to show up at
the branch in Anchorage. This case is on going.

Text: On 5-26-09 Lisa Feyereisen ( 48 years old) of Aniak, was charged
with Permitting an Unauthorized Person to Drive. Feyereisen's 14 year
old son had been observed driving the family mini truck in Aniak.
Feyereisen was summoned into Aniak District court.

Text: On 5/29/09 at 0014 hours, Earman "Ray" Myrick, 46 YOA of
Fairbanks and cab driver for Moose Cab, reported that he'd picked up 2
males for a fare to Denali Park but when they told him that they could
not afford to pay for any more than $50 worth of travel, Myrick agreed
to take them for as far as $50 would get them. While in transit, the 2
suspects told Myrick that they didn't have any money to pay the fare.
Myrick stopped the cab and left the 2 suspects on the Parks Highway just
north of Goldhill. AST later located the 2 suspects hitchhiking
southbound on the Parks Highway at mile 351. The 2 suspects were found
to be intoxicated and were taken into protective custody and lodged at
the Fairbanks Correctional Center for sleep-off. The case is being
forwarded to the District Attorney's Office for prosecution of the 2
suspects for Theft 4th.

Text: On 5/28/09, at 2335 hours, Troopers stopped a vehicle near mile
60.5 of the Sterling Highway for speeding. Troopers contacted Robert
Moore, 25 of Anchorage, as a passenger in the vehicle. Moore was found
to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest for original charges of
criminal mischief and theft. Moore was also found to be in possession
of a small amount of marijuana. Moore was arrested and remanded into
the Seward Jail where bail was set at $500.

Type: SAR
Text: On May 23rd 2009 at about 1030 hours, Ninilchik Troopers received
a report of an over due ATVer, Anchor Point resident Allen Redden (68).
Redden had left a business in Anchor Point after purchasing a Honda 3
wheeler on May 22nd at about 1000 hours and had not been seen since.
The Alaska State Troopers along with Redden's friends and the local CERT
(Community Emergency Response Team) initiated a search of the local
area. Helo 3 was requested and enroute. At about 1600 hours, on the
23rd, Redden was located off approximately 9 mile North Fork Road about
2.5 miles off the roadway. Redden, an amputee, had gotten his ATV stuck
and spent the night crawling on trails toward North Fork Road. When
discovered he was dehydrated but seemed to be in fair health. Redden
was transported by AST to the Anchor Point EMS Station where he was
taken by ambulance to South Peninsula Hospital in Homer.

Blossom, from Soldotna, after investigation revealed he had established
a black bear bait station without first registering the site with ADF&G.

scheduled for 6-19-09 in the District Court of Kenai.
