Type: DUI
Text: On 5/25/2009, approx. 2100 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a
blue 2003 Dodge Dakota pick up truck on the Parks highway near Lucas
Road in Wasilla for moving and equipment violations. Investigation
revealed James G. Hunt, age 30 of Wasilla, was operating the vehicle
while intoxicated. Hunt was arrested and remanded to MSPT where he was
held on $500.00 bail. The vehicle was released to a sober driver.

Location: Palmer
Case number: 09-42541
Type: Search and Rescue
Text: On 5/25/09 at approximately 0002 hours Charles Graham, age 37 of
Wasilla, called to report his friend, Brian McDermott, age 47 of Eagle
River, was approximately 4 hours overdue from a hike on Pioneer Peak in
the Palmer/Butte area. Rescue efforts were coordinated with AMRG, Alaska
Search and Rescue Dogs, and Mat-Su Search and Rescue, who all responded
to search the area. Alaska State Troopers responded with one AWT fixed
wing aircraft and one AST helicopter. On 5/25/09 at approximately 1004
hours, McDermott was located near 1.5 mile Knik River Road in good
health.

Type: Improper Use of Evidence of Registration

Text: On 05/26/2009 at approximately 0700 hours, Stephen Hicks, age 28,
of Big Lake, was operating his white 1997 Chevrolet Silverado southbound
on the Parks Highway near Museum Road and was stopped for a moving
violation. Investigation revealed Hicks displayed improper plates on
the rear of his vehicle. Hicks was issued a summons to appear in court
for Improper Use of Evidence of Registration. Hicks was also issued
citations for Speeding, Operating a vehicle with expired registration
and Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance.

Type: DUI

Text: On 5/25/09 at 0100 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a gold
1985 Chevy pickup near 71 mile Parks Hwy in Willow for multiple traffic
violations. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 26 year old
Justin Lawson of Willow. Investigation revealed Lawson was intoxicated
and was arrested for DUI. Lawson was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial with a
bail of $500 c/c.

Type: MVC
Text: On 5/26/09 at approximately 0808 hours Alaska State Troopers
responded to a motor vehicle collision at the Parks Hwy and Trunk Road.
Investigation revealed that 23 YOA Jessica D. Graham of Anchorage was
driving a Maroon 2008 Ford Taurus when she collided with a green 1998
Kia sedan driven by 21 YOA Sophia M. Lee of Wasilla. Both drivers
reported wearing their seatbelts. No injuries were sustained during the
collision. Total damage to both vehicles is estimated at $5000. Graham
was issued a citation for Due Care to Avoid Collision.

Type: Assault IV/Reckless Endangerment

Text: At approximately 0430 hrs. on 5-25-09, 28 yoa Edna M. PENN of
Ambler was arrested for Assault IV / Domestic Violence and Reckless
Endangerment as a result of threatening her mother and several children
at a local residence. PENN was highly intoxicated and further had
attempted to ignite both an ATV and the entrance to that residence on
fire. PENN was subsequently contacted at her nearby home, taken into
custody, and remanded at Kotzebue jail, pending arraignment.

Type: No Valid Operator's License

Text: On May 23, 3009 at 11:45 pm, Alaska State Troopers initiated a
traffic stop on 21 year old Sarahroxanne Pace of Bethel after she failed
to stop at a posted sign. Investigation revealed that Pace was
operating the vehicle without a valid driver's license. Pace was issued
a summons to appear. The vehicle was retrieved by a licensed driver.

Type: Assault in the Fourth Degree

Text: On 5-24-09 Aggie Waskey (46 years old) of Crooked Creek was
arrested for assaulting a family member. The family member was treated
at the Crooked Creek clinic and released. Waskey was transported to YKCC
in Bethel and incarcerated.

Text: On May 24, 2009 at 2:30 am, Alaska State Troopers arrested 21 year
old Elizabeth Reed of Bethel. Reed was the driver of a vehicle stopped
by Alaska State Troopers. Investigation revealed that Reed was under
the influence of alcohol. Reed was transported and remanded to the
Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center.

Type: Assault 3- DV, Assault 4- DV

Text: On 5-25-09, at about 0307 hours, Kodiak Police Department dispatch
received a report from an adult female in Akhiok reporting that she and
her 7 YOA daughter had been assaulted by 29 YOA Kara Lee Amodo of
Akhiok. State Troopers subsequently flew to the village and arrested
Amodo on a charge of Assault 3 and Assault 4. Amodo was transported to
the Kodiak Jail and remanded.

Text: On 5-26-09 at approximately 1143 hours Bethel AST was notified
that Oscar Friendly, 82 YOA of Quinhagak, died of natural causes. Next
of kin was present and Oscar was released to the family after the State
Medical Examiner was notified.

Text: On 5/19/2009 at approximately 1000 hours John Beedles, age 51 of
Kechikan, called Kodiak AST to report that approximately $2385.00 worth
of cigarettes were taken from the Kodiak branch of Northern Sales in
Kodiak. Beedles stated that the cigarettes were starting to show up at
the branch in Anchorage. This case is on going.

Type: Probation Violation

Text: On 5/22/09 at approximately 2332 hours, AST was conducting a bar
check at Jester's Palace when Leland Frank Alexander, 53 of Nenana,
was contacted behind the bar intoxicated/ Alexander is on Felony
Probation from a Felony DUI Arrest. Alexander was found to be in
violation of conditions of his probation due to a Breath Alcohol
Concentration of .201%. Adult Probation requested the Trooper to arrest
Alexander and transport him to the Fairbanks Correctional Center. This
was Alexander's second Probation Violation.

Type: Fugitive from Justice

Text: On 5-23-09 at 1416 hrs, Troopers responded to mile 277 Richardson
Highway for a civil problem. Troopers contacted Hillis Mead, 25, of
Delta Jct. Investigation revealed that Mead had a warrant for his
arrest for Failure to Appear from Michigan. Mead was placed under
arrest for being a fugitive from justice and transported to Fairbanks
Correctional Center (FCC).

Type: DUI / Violate Conditions of Release (Misdemeanor)

Text: On 5-25-09 at approximately 0036 hours, Delta AST received a REDDI
report that Donald L. WILLIAMS II, 33 of Delta Jct., was intoxicated at
Jack's Liquor. WILLIAMS was under conditions of release prohibiting him
from consuming alcohol. The caller also suspected that WILLIAMS was
DUI, as he had driven to Jack's Liquor. Investigation revealed that
WILLIAMS had driven while intoxicated and was in violation of his
release conditions. WILLIAMS was placed under arrest and charged with
DUI and Violating Conditions of Release. He was incarcerated at Delta
Court Holding Facility until his arraignment.

Type: Minor Operating Vehicle after Consuming Alcohol/MCA

Text: On 5-23-09 at 1116 hrs, Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a
2005 grey Ford Escape for following to close near mile 283 Richardson
Highway. Troopers identified the driver as Robert Mastrangelo, 20, of
Eielson AFB and passenger as Patrick Mcparlane, 20, of Phoenix, AZ.
Investigation revealed that both were under the influence of alcohol.
Mastrangelo was issued a summons for minor operating a vehicle after
consuming alcohol and for minor consuming alcohol. Mcparlane was issued
a summons for minor consuming alcohol.

Type: Driving While License Suspended
Text: On 5-25-09 Alaska State Troopers stopped a Toyota van for
speeding. Investigation revealed the driver Isaac VILLEDA of Anchorage
was driving on a suspended license. VILLEDA was issued a citation for
speeding and a summons to appear for Driving With a Suspended License.

Text: On 05-24-09, at approximately 2148 hours, Cassandra Ann Trefon,
age 27 of Soldotna, was contacted by Alaska State Troopers in the
parking lot of a Sterling liquor store after being observed swerving and
driving on the center line. Trefon was subsequently arrested for
driving with a revoked license and remanded at Wildwood with a $500
bail.

Type: Felony DUI, Assault III x 3, Reckless Driving
Text: On 5-24-09 at approximately 1830 hours, Troopers contacted Tyson
Thompson, 24 yoa of Anchorage at the Anchor Point Beach after he was
reported driving recklessly through the campground. Thompson was found
to be under the influence and was subsequently placed under arrest for
DUI. A records check revealed Thompson has two previous convictions for
DUI within the last 10 years. He was additionally charged with Assault
III x 3 and Reckless Driving after Troopers investigation revealed he
almost struck a male and his two children. Thompson was transported to
the Homer Jail where he was remanded with no bail.

Type: Reckless Driving
Text: On 5/22/09 at approximately 0108 hours, Tok AWT observed a vehicle
driving recklessly on residential streets in Tok. The vehicle was
observed to be speeding approximately 60 mph on 30 mph residential
streets, failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to signal a turn.
The vehicle was eventually stopped and the operator identified as Roger
P. Taylor, 27 yoa of Fairbanks. Taylor was issued a summons for
reckless driving and was released.

Location: Tetlin
Case Number: 09-41397
Type: Assault 4 DV, Resisting Arrest
Text: On 5/22/09 at 0320 hours, AWT and AST in Tok responded to Tetlin
for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that
Tony T. Titus, 40 yoa of Tetlin, recklessly caused injury to his
girlfriend when he threw a heavy object at her head. Titus refused to
open the door or speak to Troopers for almost 40 minutes at which time
forcible entry was made into the home and Titus was arrested. Titus was
remanded to the Tok holding facility charged with Assault 4 DV and
Resisting Arrest. The victim did not require medical attention.

Case Number: Numerous
Type: VCOR, MCA
Text: On 5/21/09 at approximately 2300 hours, Tok AWT responded to
Tetlin to investigate numerous complaints of minors consuming alcohol.
AWT conducted a foot patrol of the village resulting in the contact of
several people in the woods behind the village drinking alcohol. As a
result of these contacts Shawna Sam, 20 yoa of Tetlin, was issued a
summons for Minor Consuming. G.E., 17 yoa of Tetlin, was issued
summonses for 2 counts of VCOR and for Minor Consuming alcohol.
