Text: On 5-11-09 at 1320 hours, AST made a routine traffic stop on a Red
Chevrolet outbound about the one mile marker Egan Dr. for driving
without a seatbelt. The driver was identified as Charles E. Sayer, age
48, of Juneau. A check of APSIN showed that Sayer had a revoked
driver's license. Sayer was issued a summons and the vehicle was
released to a friend with a valid OL. Sayer was additionally cited for
failing to carry liability insurance and for failing to wear a seatbelt.

Text: On 5-11-09 at 1215 hours, AST made a routine traffic stop on a
blue Jeep inbound about the two mile marker Egan Dr. for driving over
the speed limit. The driver was identified as Zachary C. Notestine, age
24, of Juneau. A check of APSIN showed that Notestine's operator
license was revoked. Notestine was issued a summons and the vehicle was
released to his mother who had a valid OL. Notestine was additionally
cited for failing to carry liability insurance.

Text: On 5/10/2009 at approximately 2312 hours, Alaska State Troopers
conducted a traffic stop on a 1988 Chevrolet 4-door sedan at
Wasilla-Fishhook and E. Carpenter Circle in Wasilla for an equipment
violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Renee Lee Ellison, was
operating on a suspended license and also failed to provide proof of
insurance. Ellison was arrested for driving while license suspended,
transported, and remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial and later released on her
own recognizance. Ellison was also issued a citation for failure to
provide proof of insurance. Ellison's vehicle was released to a
licensed driver.

Text: On 5/11/09 at approximately 0054 hours, Troopers conducted a
traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Trent Circle and the
Palmer-Wasilla Highway in Wasilla for a moving violation and erratic
driving. Investigation revealed the driver, Michael P. Schwochert, age
44, of Wasilla, was driving while impaired and under the influence of
alcohol. Schwochert was arrested and transported to AST Palmer Post
were he refused to provide a sample of his breath. Schwochert was
remanded to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility with bail set at $1500.00.

Text: On 5-10-09 at approximately 2030 hours, Troopers stopped an
Oldsmobile sedan on the Parks Highway at Montana Creek Road for an
equipment violation. The driver was identified as Antoinette Holliday,
age 20 of Willow. Investigation revealed that Holliday had a suspended
AKDL. Holliday was issued a misdemeanor citation to appear in court and
the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

Text: On 05/11/09 at 0335 hours Palmer AST contacted Solon Ahaking, age
18 of Anchorage, after the vehicle he was driving was stopped for a
moving violation near the intersection of the Parks Hwy. and Lucille St.
in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Ahaking was operating a motor
vehicle without a valid license. Ahaking was issued a summons to appear
in the Palmer Court for NVOL. The vehicle was released to a licensed
driver.

Text: On 05/11/09 at 0150 hours, Palmer AST contacted Josiah W. Beasley
, age 32 of Wasilla, during a disturbance investigation. Investigation
revealed that Beasley had an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500
for failure to appear on the original charge of DWLS. Beasley was
arrested and transported to MSPT where he was held on $500 bail.

Text: On 05/11/2009 at approximately 0720 hours AST responded to a
residence on E. Birch Dr. in Wasilla for a report of CPR in progress.
Investigation revealed that Robert Fortuine, age 75 of Wasilla, passed
away at his residence from natural causes. Next of Kin was on scene.
The State Medical Examiner was contacted and the body was released to
the family. Kehl's Mortuary responded to provide final services. No
foul play is suspected.

Text: On 05/11/09 at approximately 0922 hours Alaska State Troopers
responded to a REDDI report of a female driving a 2000 white GMC pickup
that had just left a store with a strong odor of alcohol. AST stopped
the vehicle at Cope Industrial Way and Outer Springer Loop in Palmer for
an equipment violation. Investigation revealed that Pamala J. Nolen,
age 48, of Palmer was driving under the influence. Nolen was arrested
for DUI and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility and held on a bail
of $500.00.

Type: MVC-D / DWLS
Text: On 05/10/2009 at approximately 1400 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to a single vehicle collision near the intersection of Bogard
Rd. and Tait Dr., Wasilla. Investigation found Oleksandr M.
Tereshchenko, age 33, of Wasilla, was driving his 2005 Chrysler 300
eastbound on Bogard Rd. when his vehicle left the roadway and entered
the ditch. Further investigation revealed Tereshchenko was driving with
a suspended driver's license. There were no injuries as a result of the
collision and all occupants reported wearing their seatbelts. Damage to
the Chrysler 300 is estimated at $3,000.00. Tereshchenko was issued a
summons to appear in the Palmer Court for DWLS.

Type: Illegal Importation of Alcohol / Disorderly Conduct
Text: On 5-9-09, at approximately 2030 hours, Alaska State Troopers from
McGrath were conducting a village visit to the Village of Nikolai.
During the visit Troopers responded to a disturbance near the Nikolai
School. Investigation revealed that David G. Petruska, age 38 of
Nikolai, was intoxicated and being disorderly. Petruska was arrested and
transported to McGrath.

Type: Assault II-DV, Criminal Mischief V-DV, Burglary I-DV, Interfering
With a Report of a DV Crime, Resisting Arrest, Assault IV, Reckless
Endangerment, Probation Violation
Text: On 5-9-09 at approximately 0357 hours, Troopers received a report
that the Noatak village police officer was responding to an altercation
in progress. Investigation determined that Jan Westlake, age 26, of
Noatak tampered with a former household member's window prior to
entering the residence and strangled the household member numerous times
causing pain and injury. The victim was treated at the Noatak medical
clinic and transported to the Maniilaq Medical Center in Kotzebue for
evaluation. During the incident, Westlake destroyed a telephone while
inside the residence when another household member attempted to contact
Troopers. A six year old child became scared after witnessing the
incident and fled the residence without wearing any footwear and proper
outdoor clothing. Westlake departed the scene and was later contacted
by the village police officer. While being placed under arrest,
Westlake assaulted the police officer causing minor injuries. Westlake
was successfully placed under arrest, with the assistance of Noatak
community members, and transported to Kotzebue Regional Jail with no
bail pending arraignment. Further investigation revealed that Westlake
is currently on probation until 9-30-10 for Assault IV with one of the
conditions being not to commit any law violations. Alcohol was a factor
during the incident and the investigation is continuing. Troopers would
like to thank the community of Noatak for their assistance and teamwork
prior to the arrival of Troopers.

Type: Manufacturing Alcohol
Text: On May 6, 2009, a VPSO in the village of Akiak responded to a call
for service at the residence of Samuel LAKE Sr. While the VPSO was
inside the residence he noticed a jar of what appeared to "homebrew".
The investigation revealed that Mr. LAKE had manufactured the homebrew
with intent to make alcohol. A sample of the homebrew is being sent to
the Alaska State Crime Lab for analyses.

Text: On 05-09-09 at 2300 hours, the Village Public Safety Officer in
Shungnak received report of a domestic disturbance in the village.
Investigation revealed Derek Anthony Woods, 22 yoa of Shungnak,
assaulted another family member. Woods was arrested for assault IV and
subsequently transported to and remanded at the Kotzebue Regional Jail.
Alcohol was determined to be a contributing factor in this assault.

Text: On 5-8-09 at approximately 2340 hours, Kotzebue Troopers received
a report of a disturbance in the village of Noatak. Investigation
determined that Roger Adams, age 29, of Noatak placed a household member
in fear and caused minor injuries to another former household member.
Adams was subsequently arrested by Troopers and transported to Kotzebue
Regional Jail with no bail pending arraignment. Alcohol was not a

Text: On 4-30-09 at approximately 0245 hours AST Kodiak responded to a
residence on Turner Lane after a 52 year old female called 911 and
reported her son, 35 year old Dax M. Panamarioff, was involved in an
incident of domestic violence with his 34 year old girlfriend. When
Troopers arrived at the scene Panamarioff had already fled the area.
Investigation revealed that Panamarioff had assaulted his mother.
Panamarioff's girlfriend denied that she was a victim of assault and
said they were only having a loud verbal argument. Alcohol was a
factor. On 5-1-09 at approximately AST located Panamarioff and arrested
him. He was taken to the Kodiak City Jail and charged with Assault 4th
Degree / Domestic Violence and 2 counts of Violating Conditions of
Release.

and requested an officer. Investigation revealed that 43 year old
Ferdinand Fallorin of Kodiak assaulted his wife. He was also driving
while under the influence in the minutes preceding the incident.
Fallorin was arrested at the scene and transported to the Kodiak City
Jail where he was charged with Assault 4th Degree / Domestic Violence
and DUI.

Text: On 5/2/09 Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Sitka Alaska contacted the
F/V Nooksack after observing belligerent behavior aboard the vessel and
watching the vessel pull out of its stall and hit the dock. Subsequent
investigation revealed that the owner and operator, Robert M. Eno, 54,
of Sitka, was operating the vessel under the influence of alcohol. Eno
was arrested and charged with DUI while operating a watercraft. Eno was
