Ron Meyers and Kevin Petovello each bagged a goal and an assist, and Chad Johnson stopped 23 shots tonight to lead UAF to a 4-1 Central Collegiate Hockey Association win over No. 14-ranked Ohio State.
Dion Knelsen added two helpers for UAF, which sits third in the league at 12-9-6 overall and 10-8-5 in league (great season, so far for the Nanooks, but note their 23 league games are the most in the league).
Ohio State winger Hunter Bishop went without a point in his return home and was -1.
The Buckeyes are 16-8-3, 9-7-3 overall, and tied for fifth in the league. Note that they've played four fewer games than UAF, which they trail by four points.
