UAA Seawolves sophomore winger Tommy Grant, coming off a five-point performance in a series split with No. 3 -ranked Colorado College, has been named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this month.

Grant bagged three goals and two assits in the series. He racked two assists an an empty-net goal in Friday's 4-2 win, hen furnished two goals, including a short-handed strike in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss. Grant fired seven shots on goal and earned a plus-2 rating in the series.

The Seawolves (7-5-2 overall, 4-4-2 WCHA) earned the No. 19 ranking Monday in the USCHO.com/CBS Sports Poll.

Grant is tied for fourth in the nation in goals with 10, and has scored 17 points in 14 games. He is second on the team in points to his center, junior Paul Crowder (18 points) and is second to Crowder in plus-minus a plus-10. Crowder is plus-12.

Grant is enjoying a breakout season. As a rookie, he earned modest 5-2--7 totals in 31 games, which means he already has doubled his goals, assists and points from that freshman season.

UAA is idle this week before traveling to Wisconsin for Dec. 5-6 series that closes the first half of the Seawolves' schedule.
