I'm neither an advocate nor an opponent of a raw pet-food diet, but I think a lot of dog owners have at least considered the idea.
Here's information about an upcoming free seminar at Alaska Dog Sports discussing a raw diet. Here are the details:
WHAT: Free seminar designed to answer questions on a raw diet and to provide a balanced discussion on the topic.
WHEN: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30
WHERE: Alaska Dog Sports, 511 W. 54th Ave.
PRESENTERS: Anneliese Tschannen and Cheryl Richardson. Cheryl has spent the last few years researching raw/natural diets and has written several articles for Alaska Wellness magazine on the topic. Anneliese's research came from having a dog with digestive issues that started as a puppy - she found things that worked for him and she has continued to learn more about the subject. Both are instructors at Alaska Dog Sports and distributors of different packaged raw diets.
