Laura Tolman is a local certified childbirth educator and labor support professional. She also works as a postpartum doula. She and her husband are long time Alaskans and are the parents and forming relationships with families while learning about other cultures. In her free time Laura enjoys writing freelance articles, poetry, and the performing arts. Her favorite pastime is being with family and coaxing uproarious laughter out of her young son.

There are so many new studies to read about related to pregnancy. One site that I find contains interesting information about many recent pregnancy studies is pregnancy-info.net/in_the_news. Underneath each summary news study, is the website link for the reference.
Research is being conducted ‘round the globe, and everyday new theories are being tested and proven. So if you’re currently pregnant, thinking about getting pregnant, know someone who is pregnant, or even if you’ve had all your children…there are benefits to staying informed on the latest findings. The results may impact you or your children.
