Group hosts media workshop for young parents

ProCreativity WorkshopProCreativity Workshop

A media workshop for young parents is currently accepting applications. The ProCreativity Workshop is an opportunity for these young people to tell their stories through the creation of short films.

Participants will meet with professionals on 12 Saturdays to learn story craft, cinema arts and video production. All equipment, lunch and childcare will be provided.

The workshops will take place Sept. 6 through Nov. 22, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crossroads High School and Out North Theatre in Anchorage. This opportunity is funded by the Alaska State Council on the Arts, Association of Alaska School Boards, Planned Parenthood of Alaska, Out North Theatre, SummitDay Media, private donors and a host of volunteers.
