Glenn Highway Road Closure

Massive dirt moving is going on between Mile 92 and 97 of the Glenn Highway. If you're going north anytime soon, the road is closed from midnight to 6 a.m. weekdays until Sept. 29. The rest of the time expect delays and long lines as drivers wait for the pilot car to navigate everyone through the one-lane road. There's a new bridge going in at Hicks Creek and explosions as construction workers blast through rock to widen the road and avoid rockfalls.
