A Pitka's Point man has been charged with criminal trespass after he allegedly forced his way into a woman's home and had to be removed by troopers. See the dispatch out of Pitka's Point below.

Location: Wasilla
Case number: 08-48068
Type: MVC-D
Text: On 6-18-08, at about 2038 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded
to a two vehicle collision at approximately mile 6.5 of Fairview Loop in
Wasilla. An investigation revealed that Thomas Strange, age 21, of
Palmer, was operating a 1987, Subaru. The second driver, was identified
as Heath Hassen, age 29, of Palmer, who was operating a 1990, Buick. The
investigation revealed that Strange was traveling east on Fairview Loop
when his vehicle crossed the yellow center line and struck Hassen's
vehicle. Hassen's vehicle sustained an estimated $2000.00 in damage.
Strange's vehicle sustained only minor damage. All occupants were
wearing seat-belts and no injuries were reported.

Text: On 6/19/08 at 0001 hours, AST arrested Jammiean Kelly, 30, of
Wasilla near Bogard and Engstron St, on an outstanding warrant for
failure to appear on charges of theft, forgery and MICS 4. Kelly was
remanded to Matsu pretrial with no bail and CATP. Kelly was contacted
as a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a trffic violation.

Type: Warrant Arrest
Text: On 6/18/08 at approximately 2210 hours, near Wasilla, AST arrested
Kelly Kitchen, 22, of Wasilla on five outstanding warrants. All
warrants were for failure to appear on charges of DWLR, stalking,
violating a stalking order and a DUI charge. Kitchen was remanded to
Matsu pretrial with bail of $1,500 and for no bail on the DUI charge.
Kitchen was contacted as a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for
speeding.

Location: Alexander Creek
Case number: 08-47876
Type: Death Investigation
Text: On 6-18-08 at approximately 1000 hours, Talkeetna AST was
notified of a death which had occurred in a remote cabin on Alexander
Creek. The victim was identified as Martin Klein, age 70 of Austria.
Investigation revealed that Klein had collapsed outside the cabin for
unknown reasons. No foul play is suspected. Klein was transported back
to Willow, where he was released to the State Medical Examiner's Office.
Next of kin has been notified.

Type: Expected home death
Text: On 06-18-08 at 0442 hours, Bethel AST received information from
Emmonak Health Aide, Norma Shorty that Elizabeth Redfox, 41 of Emmonak
had died. Investigation revealed that Redfox was suffering from cancer
and that her death was expected. Redfox had died at her residence in
Emmonak at about 0350 hours and the death was attended by family. No
foul play is suspected. The State Medical Examiners office has been
contacted and has authorized release of the remains to family. Next of
kin was notified.

Type: Warrant Arrest
Text: On 6/18/2008, Alaska State Troopers from King Salmon received an
anonymous report that Benjamin Jakoski, age 51, of Anchorage, had a
warrant for his arrest, and that he was in Egegik, AK. Troopers
responded to Egegik and the investigation revealed that Jakoski was
managing a sport fishing lodge on Becharof Lake. Troopers chartered a
skiff and responded to the lodge, were Jakoski was contacted, and
arrested for Theft 2, Theft 3 and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
Jakoski was transported and remanded to the King Salmon holding
faculty. Bail was set at $20,000 cash only.

Type: Criminal Trespass
Text: On 6/18/08, at 1000 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report
from a Pitka's Point resident stating that someone had entered her house
uninvited and had to be removed. Subsequent investigation revealed that
Anthony Wasky, 21 of Pitka's Point had forced his way into a residence
to talk to the occupant. Wasky was charged with one count of Criminal
Trespass I. A summons will be issued to Wasky regarding the matter.
Alcohol was not a factor.

Text: On 6/18/08 at about 2315 hours, AST arrested Samara Teel, 32, of
North Pole after investigation showed that she had a assaulted a male
relative in her home. Teel was taken to FCC, where she was held without
bail.

Type: Probation Violation and Minor Consuming Alcohol
Text: On 6-18-08, at 1924 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a
residence on Hess Avenue for a loud noise complaint. AST contacted Cody
L. Mikesell, 20 of Fairbanks, at his residence where the noise was
coming from. Investigation revealed Mikesell was currently on Probation
for Theft II and was in possession of alcoholic beverages and consuming
alcoholic beverages in violation of his probation. He was arrested for
violating his probation, and an additional charge of Minor Consuming
Alcohol is being forward to the District Attorney's Office. A 15 year
old female was also at the same residence and she was cited for Minor
Consuming, and was released to her parents.

Type: Driving Under the Influence/probation violation
Text: On 06-18-08 at 1901 hours, Alfred Lacorigia, 65 of Ohio, was
arrested for Driving Under the Influence after he was contacted by
Alaska State Troopers investigating a citizen reported DUI.
Lacoriglia's breath alcohol content was .146%. In addition, his son,
Anthony Lacoriglia, 39 of Fairbanks, was arrested for a probation
violation after he was contacted by the responding troopers at his
residence for the DUI investigation and found to be in possession of
alcohol. Both Lacoriglias were subsequently transported and remanded at
Fairbanks Correctional Center.

Text: On 06-19-08 at 0100 hours, Troopers summonsed Hagime L. Horigome
Reto, 25 of Reston, VA, for driving with a suspended operator's license
after being stopped for a traffic infraction. Horigome Reto was
contacted near mile 211 of the Parks Highway. Investigation complete.

Text: On 6/19/2008 at 0222 hrs., AST contacted 20 yr old John P Miller
of Fairbanks, after the vehicle he was a passenger in was stopped for a
traffic violation. Further investigation revealed that Miller was on
Felony Probation and was in violation of his condition of Probation.
Miller was arrested for Probation Violation and transported to the
Fairbanks Correctional Center.

Text: On 06/18/08 at approximately 1537 hours, troopers conducted a
traffic stop on a 1993 Chevy truck for not having a rear bumper. The
stop was conducted at Nistler Road and the Richardson Highway. The
driver of the vehicle was identified as Vitaly Pluschakov, age 20, of
Delta Junction. Vitaly was issued a summons for DWLR/S for operating on
a revoked license from Washington. Vitaly was also issued a citation
for Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance.

traffic stop on a 2001 blue jeep for speeding. The stop was conducted

identified as Sergey V. Malyk, age 17, of Delta Junction. Sergey was

before being released on scene.

Text: On 6-17-08 at approximately 2221 hours, Troopers contacted
Charlene Hixon, 50 yoa of Anchor Point, when the vehicle she was

Hixon was found to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for DUI.
She was transported to the Homer Jail where she was remanded with
$500.00 bail.

Text: On 6-15-08, Dutch Harbor Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Edwin
L. Gomez (28 YOA) of Unalaska, who was observed sport fishing along
Illiuliuk Bay, in Unalaska. Gomez was discovered to be fishing without
a 2008 sport fishing license and was issued a citation for Sport Fishing
without a License in Possession. Bail was set at $210.00 for the
Unalaska District Court.

Type: Manufacture of Alcoholic Beverages in a Local Option Area
Text: On 6-17-08 Members of the Togiak Police Department and the Western
Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team served a search warrant at a residence
in Togiak. Investigators seized about three gallons of homebrew alcohol
as well as the ingredients and other equipment used in the manufacture
of alcoholic beverages. A Togiak man and woman will be charged with
Manufacture of Alcoholic Beverages in a Local Option Area.

Type: Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance VI, Driving while
License Revoked
Text: On 6-13-08 Mark Downs of Anchorage was arrested for Driving while
License Revoked by the Dillingham Police Department. Further
investigation by the Western Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team resulted
in the seizure of about 25 grams of marijuana from Downs. He was
charged with Driving while License Revoked and Misconduct involving a
Controlled Substance VI.
