Serial robber sought by police

A man accused of robbing seven businesses in Anchorage during the past two weeks is being sought by police. Here's the press release--

Anchorage police are asking for help in identifying and locating a man who is responsible for seven robberies in town over the last two weeks.

The following businesses were recently robbed:

4/29/08 11:26 p.m. Shell Gas Station 3635 Mt. View Drive

In each incident the robber brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. He wears a grey hooded sweatshirt during day time robberies and a black “puffy” hooded winter coat during evening robberies. He also conceals his identity by wearing a ski mask, sunglasses, and gloves. He is a dark skinned black male, about 6’ tall, with a thin build.
