Blue Jean Reinvention Contest

Everyone from the community is invited to enter this creative contest. Entries will be submitted and displayed on Friday, May 9. Prices will be awarded in three categories with two age divisions per category.

Now that the snow has melted the question on everyone's mind is, "Where do I find orange bags?" Okay, maybe it's not the only question, but it is the one that most callers who dial my number are asking. Here is the short list. For more information, CLICK HERE.

Orange Bag Drop-Off Locations
Now that you've filled those orange bags with trash someone else left on the ground... don't just leave it on the side of the road for someone else to pickup. Take the last step in becoming a Cleanup Hero. Here is the short list of locations for properly disposing of the bag and it's contents. For guidelines, regulations and more information, CLICK HERE.

Orange Bags are accepted free of charge May 3-10.
Free Residential Dump Days are May 3, 4 & 10.

Bags provided in wrong areas

Thanks for not providing a west or east location to pick up bags. People with the least amount of tranportation will have probems getting them.

Try Your Local School on May 10

A great day for convenient bag pickup is Saturday, May 10. We partner with the Anchorage School District each year to promote the Super Sweepers program. Participating area schools will have bags available to the community from 10am-2pm.

(I'm sorry I misunderstood your comment about pickup locations. My first response must have seemed odd to say the least. I hope you find this more helpful.)

at&t ran out

of the orange bags. Please post a central phone number to enable calling ahead to verify there are supplies on hand ... before expensive gas is wasted on wild goose chases.
