Recycle What You Can Can

Citywide Cleanup Week is all about clearing Anchorage of the trash and debris left over after the winter melt. There are many green disposal options for avid recyclers among our Cleanup Heros. This will require a little more effort... but the reward is priceless.

ALPAR has recycling centers at many Anchorage locations where you can sort and carry those recycling items found during cleanup such as:
-Carboard
-Plastic #1 & #2
-Aluminum Cans
-Tin Cans
-Glass
-Plastic Grocery Bags
-Newspaper
-Mixed Paper

Electronic recycling information is coming your way soon so stay tuned.

And of course, Scrap Metal options are now available on May 3, 4 & 10.

Do you know of more options in Anchorage? Please post your reply on our blog. We are happy to share the wealth of knowledge.
